Give Up Clothes for Good with TK Maxx

Event Date: 05/04/2010

Give Up Clothes for Good with TK Maxx & Cancer Research UK

Give Up Clothes for Good is the UK’s largest ever clothes collection. Now in its fourth year, the biannual campaign is supported by celebrities and shoppers across the country and in 2008, it raised £3.2million worth of donations and this year aims to raise even more.

From 5th – 25th April, TK Maxx and Cancer Research UK are joining forces to ask the nation to donate their unwanted quality clothes and to help beat childhood cancers. Special donation bags will be available free in TK Maxx (located on the First Floor) from late March but if you haven’t got one, don’t worry! Any bag will do, from bin bags to supersize carrier bags – it’s what’s inside the bag that matters. So strip your wardrobes as bare as you dare, fill up any bag and drop it off in TK Maxx (located on the First Floor). Each bag could be worth up to £30 for Cancer Research UK.
